After hearing about the benefits of nutritional supplements, you might want to jump on the bandwagon. Who wouldn’t? Nutritional supplements can be amazing additions but they are just that – additions. They are not meant to supply your total daily nutritional needs and there is a right time and a wrong time to begin them. The wrong time is anyone who is new to bodybuilding/weightlifting who does not have a proper diet or training program in place. This is extremely important as you cannot and will not get the result that you are looking for with a poor diet and sporadic exercising. You need a dietary plan and solid training schedule. For your diet, you need to learn to control calories, fat and carbs. Your diet can control your results, so, do your homework – read up on nutrition. Your training should be a 7 day training course with a balance of weight training and cardio. After a few weeks of this routine, now you can add a stack. A stack is simply using different supplements that complement each other to increase your results. A multivitamin, whey protein and fatty acids are the most important and best to stack. Multivitamin in the a.m., protein before and after workout (to tone and repair) and fatty acid before bed to restore, repair and ready your body for the next day. If your diet and exercise is set, stacking will increase your results greatly.
